GCP Games

This blog remains inactive for long periods of time.

The most frequent updates can be found in the comments section of my profile on YoYo Games.

The next time this blog will be updated will most likely be when the development of Mercury II is in full swing. See you later!

Yeah Yeah Yeah...

This website has been practically dead for the last 10 months! But that's OK. Once again I'd like to remind everyone that I post quite a few updates in my comments section on YoYo Games, so look there if you want to know what's going on. DOOMclone Revisited should hit YoYo within the coming hours, so that's exiting. But yeah, hopefully I'll update the site just a bit more over the summer.

EPIC Fail...

It has now been 17 days since I was supposed to release Jumper-Ball Evolution.

Ooops. XD

But, let's be honest: no one cared.

Basically I dropped the game when it was 96% done in favor of getting the second beta of Mercury out.

So, the game will come out soon...

Jumper-Ball Evolution - Breaking Out, June 20th

5 years ago I created this site. The main reason for doing so was to give my first MAJOR project a place to call home. The game was Jumper-Ball Next, and while it is no longer available on the site or at YoYo, I still view it very fondly.

About a year ago I decided that the game deserved a second chance. And now, with me taking a break from Mercury, I can finally finish it.

Jumper-Ball Evolution is a remastering of the 5 year old game, featuring impr...

5 Years

The 13th of June will mark the 5th anniversary of the site. To celebrate, I have redesigned the logo, which can be seen on the top of the page as well as here:

Expect a surprise on the 13th as well!

UPDATE: While I created the site on the 13th of June in 2005, the website did not go live until the 20th. As evidenced by the three year anniversary ...

That's funny...

I've only made two posts (now three) in almost an entire year.

It may be time for a change...

I have been thinking heavily that it may be time for a change for this website. Lets be honest: I don't even have the games page up to date, so... is it needed? And what about the DC Tech page, thats not up to date either. Seriously, half of this site could just go!

What I really want is an extremely simple website that consits of only a blog, a projects page, and a link to my profile on YoYo. Thats it. Oh, and I want to be able to update the damn blog from windows live wri...

Well, I really screwed that one up! Is it ironic or just pathetic that the last update to this site was me six months ago saying I would regularly update the site? Anyways, there is a new website for Mercury, so check it out!

Woah! It's the new goldenchainproductions.com!

Yes, that's right! I finally took the plunge and bought a .com domain name. And it is sweet! Apparently, this also means that I am now a premium member of freewebs, so those pesky ads are also a thing of the past. You will probably also notice that I am doing some pretty cool updates to the site. And this time, I'll keep it updated! I better, too, since I will now be spending five dollars (not alot, I know) on google adwords advertising to try and generate more traffic to the site. PLEASE vis...

The Road to Mercury: Teaser Screenshots!

I cannot make a release date. Or, I almost never do. I tend to lose motivation on projects that I am working on, and then will leave them behind for quite some time. Unfortunately, [R][E][D][2] is one of those games. Development on it ceased over two weeks ago, meaning that the game is put on hold and might not see a release ...

The Road to Mercury: The Completion of DC Engine 3.5!

Pardon me for not updating in a while, but I have been a bit busy with the end of the school year. To think that it has been nearly three months since the first entry into this blog series! Luckely though, [R][E][D][2] is almost done and will see a hopeful release date of June 2nd. My last post was very brief, anno...
